This is a picture taken from Sebastian Thrun’s Google Plus. He is a vice president at Google, and snapped the picture while playing with his son.
With no hands. From Google Glasses. I can’t tell you how coolthis is. Truly hands-free photography will be a boon to anyone who ever wanted to snap a photo of something cool they’ve seen.
But mostly, it just reminded me of one thing.

So, I finally got access to Google+ yesterday, as they had a certain block on Google Apps users from joining. This means I don’t have to create a completely new e-mail just to use the service, and I can see what all the fuss is about.

Happy Birthday Jeff!
So, following yesterday’s birthday blog post for Coelasquid, I’m posting another one for my friend Jeff. Amazing photographer, great drinking buddy and one of the most grounded people I know. There aren’t many people from my old home town that I look forward to talking to, but Jeff is one of them.
He also takes amazing photographs, so give him a follow.

Things I want to accomplish this Winter Break
- Clean my room. Still needs a good polish before I leave for home.
- Finish my Mass Effect 2 save that’s been sitting on my Dropbox through all this hard drive trouble.
- Watch the last 4 episodes of Walking Dead.
- Re-read BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad, like I do every break.
- Finally use that 3-day League of Legends boost I’ve been saving for a rainy couple days. DOTA, here I come.
- Watch the original Tron, even if I have to do it inebriated.
- Learn some Java, or at least pick up Karel again. It seems like journalism isn’t attention-whorey enough for me, and I want to get into programming something. I am sure to regret this in due time.
- Take some better author photos, dear god.
- Write that column that’s been blowing around in my head.
- Take advantage of the “free food” thing at home to learn some new recipes.
I think ten should be good enough for now. Might update in the future.
